What are the responsibilities and job description for the Government Healthcare Financial Analyst position at Cameron Professional Services Group, LLC?
- Provide analytical support to large, complex capitation rate setting and other actuarial or financial projects.
- Under the direction of senior actuarial staff, support the design and implementation of rate structures and methodologies, and ensure consistency with federal regulations and actuarial standards.
- Support the development of rate setting assumptions that are built into actuarial models and inform the project teams on the impact of data and assumptions and provide on-going review and guidance throughout the rate setting process.
- Collaborate with project teams to finalize rates and educate the clients on the impact of their policies on the data and rates.
- Review various financial reports and provide analysis of results.
- * BA/BS degree
- BA/BS degree
- 2 years of healthcare financial analysis experience, financial modeling, or rate setting
- Strong Excel Skills
- Medicaid program experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience related to health plan analysis or capitated rate development is preferred, but not required
- Experience in understanding financial reports and conducting financial monitoring

Pay: $52,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
