We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
- Administer treatments, including IV infusions, while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Provide urgent care services and manage acute care situations effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in memory care and senior care settings to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in senior care practices and understanding of the unique needs of elderly patients.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safe medical practices.
- Experience with IV infusion procedures and managing complications related to infusions.
- Ability to provide urgent care services in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner, for efficient documentation.
- Expertise in memory care strategies for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Competence in acute care management, including the ability to dialyze patients when necessary.
- Experience working in pediatric intensive care units (PICU) is a plus but not required.
