What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Paraprofessional/Elementary After School Program Aide position at Cameron School District?
Overview
Cameron School District has an opening for a Special Education/Comet Club aide. This person will work in our high school doing special education duties Monday-Friday from 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and then transition to our Comet Club after school program at the elementary school from 3:30 p.m. - 5:15. This is a full time, 9 month (student days) position.
Qualifications
Must hold or be able to hold a Special Education Aide license or teacher certification.
Applicants interested in this position must enjoy working with high school and elementary school age students. Successful applicant will demonstrate effective communication skills while working with students, other staff, and parents. Successful applicant will also have a willingness and ability to handle a variety of daily tasks within the school setting as assigned by teaching staff, Comet Club staff, and the Principal.
