JOB DESCRIPTION :
Cameron University, an NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference, is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications. This position is responsible for the overall direction, management, and supervision of the Athletics Communications Department. The Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications will support the department’s mission, vision, and core values. This is a 12-month, full-time position with benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Creates, designs, and develops graphic design needs for the athletic department
- Manages the Athletics department website
- Provides sports information game day management and duties at all home contests including game stats, overseeing web-streaming, video replay, scheduling personnel, overseeing graduate assistants for operations, and post-game reporting.
- Coordinates photography and video
Facilitates awards nominations and voting as needed for Cameron, Lone Star Conference, professional associations, and NCAA
Develops and maintains relationships with and serves as primary contact for external media
Works with athletic staff and coaches to promote Cameron athletics to internal and external stakeholders
Maintains historical statistics
Serves on the Athletics Hall of Fame Selection Committee
Hires and manages multiple graduate assistant and student worker positions
Other duties as assigned
