Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION :
Performs a variety of tasks associated with the receipt and delivery of incoming and outgoing campus and U.S / Mail and freight to all campus facility locations.
Picking up, sorting and delivering mail to include delivering bulk mail to the City Post office.
Dispatches, receives and delivers freight shipments.
Matches shipping / receiving documents against purchase orders to determine destination.
Wraps packages and cartons for mailing or freight shipment and maintains files and appropriate records on freight shipments such as value, charges and destination of insurance and C.O.D. packages.
Performs other assigned duties.
SUPERVISION : Reports to the Director of Physical Facilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Graduate of a standard high school or equivalent.
Must have basic knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar
Must be able to perform work requiring lifting weights up to 50 pounds, climbing, ladder work, crawling, and overhead work, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Must have demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise helpers.
Possession of a valid Oklahoma Drivers' license.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience in mail handling / delivery.
SALARY :
This position has a starting pay of 24,500.00.
