Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated college student to work on various single-family residence home projects. This role will assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the on-site construction activities for assigned subdivisions. The Construction Intern will assist in monitoring the completion of each construction phase through performing inspections, scheduling and coordination of activities as directed by the Construction Manager while gaining an overall knowledge of the construction management processes and best practices.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist Construction Manager with the full-cycle of the building process
- Coordinates and monitors building schedules, inspections and walk lists for all homes in progress
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules and weekly payroll processes
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of all homes, including project costs and potential changes
- Ensures that all work is being performed in accordance with OSHA and SWPPP requirements
- Assist with all other duties as assigned.
