Experienced Kitchen Team Member

Job Summary
Looking for Kitchen/Line cook help. Pay is based off experience and pay is weekly. Call 732-439-6285 if interested or if you have any questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Support catering events by preparing dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in training sessions related to food safety and kitchen operations.

Skills

• Proficient with knife skills for efficient food preparation.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Basic knowledge of menu planning is a plus.
• Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide is beneficial.
