- Position Summary
The Contracts Manager, U.S., leads and manages the negotiation, administration, and execution of US customer contracts. This role is 00critical in ensuring that contractual agreements align with the company’s financial objectives, mitigate risk, and support efficient service delivery. The Contracts Manager will work closely with Legal, Operations, Finance, HR, HSE, and QA teams, providing expert guidance on contract-related matters to safeguard the company’s interests while fostering strong client relationships.

Contract Negotiation & Management
- Serve as the primary representative in U.S. customer contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, profitability targets, and risk management strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring clarity, legal compliance, and enforceability.
- Oversee contract execution, ensuring timely approvals, documentation, and adherence to corporate policies.
- Maintain a centralized contract management system, tracking key milestones, authorizations, and correspondence.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Conduct contractual risk assessments, ensuring terms are structured to protect the company’s interests while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements, proactively identifying potential risks or contractual challenges.
- Work in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Operations, HSE and Human Resources teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Research contract history and customer terms to provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal business units, providing expert guidance on contract interpretation, negotiation strategies, and risk exposure.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Sales, to ensure contracts are structured for efficient service fulfillment.
- Support leadership teams with contract insights, trends, and strategic recommendations to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and ensuring mutually beneficial contractual outcomes.
Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness
- Stay informed on emerging trends, industry regulations, and best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within contract management workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in professional development activities, enhancing expertise in contract management, negotiation, and industry-specific regulations.

4.0 Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A legal background is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the TIC or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial negotiations, and risk management principles.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
