3.0 Position Summary
Assist the Fuels Compliance Coordinator in a variety of clerical matters related to EPA reporting and regulations; conduct fuels compliance data audits, data management and organization and analysis/reporting, interact with and instruct (petroleum) laboratory and operational personnel and EPA clients.
4.0 Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) plus 2-years of college-level course work or Associates level degree or higher.
• Must have practical knowledge of science/chemistry and good math skills.
• Must have good communication and time management skills.
• Should have good working knowledge of business web applications using Internet browsers, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint suite.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision, be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, have a high stress tolerance, and communicate effectively with all users.
• Must demonstrate clear/legible handwriting, be very organized and detail oriented.

6.0 Responsibilities
• Analyze and monitor our laboratory and operational fuel compliance information, prepare submission reports and statistics.
• Maintain an organized record set/database of fuel compliance help and guidance documents.
• Prepare periodic operations and laboratory review reports.
• Provide fuels compliance support for all operations and laboratory users.
• Prepare fuels compliance reports for clients and management.
• Prepare instructional and training manuals and deliver classes on compliance regulations, documentation requirements, gauging and testing best practices.
• Record all customer complaints and requests for clarification. Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions. Escalate to upper management as needed.
• Stay current with changes and updates from government local and federal agencies in matters of fuels compliance.
