- Position Summary
The LPG Inspector is responsible for overseeing and conducting thorough inspections and tests on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) systems, tanks, and related equipment within the context of a high-standard Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) environment. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety, industry regulations, and company quality standards while delivering accurate documentation and providing technical expertise to internal teams and clients.

- Conduct detailed inspections of LPG tanks, pipelines, storage facilities, and associated equipment to verify compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform leak detection, pressure testing, and integrity checks to assess the condition of LPG infrastructure and ensure operational safety.
- Review and evaluate LPG system designs, installation practices, and operational conditions for compliance with national and international codes (e.g., ASME, NFPA, API).
- Track inspection results, deviations from standards, and corrective actions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure that safety protocols are adhered to during all inspections and tests, minimizing risks to personnel and the environment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, including test results, non-conformance issues, and any corrective actions required.

- Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in LPG inspection, maintenance, or a related field within the energy, oil, gas, or industrial sectors.
- Experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of LPG systems, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in the use of inspection tools and equipment, including pressure testing devices, leak detectors, and calibration instruments.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA, API) and regulatory frameworks for LPG safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in various outdoor environments and adhere to safety protocols.
- Fitness for Duty – Physical Demands
- Workday may consist of 8-12 hours.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, wind, and other environmental factors.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Candidates must be able to pass a Fit for Duty test, ensuring they are physically capable of performing job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to work with and around potentially hazardous chemicals and flammable gases, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
