Camino Search is excited to partner with a leading brand in their space, boasting over $1 billion in revenue. This company has taken on exciting new finance/accounting leadership. This is an exciting time to join the business with lots of exciting projects across automation.
With that, we are seeking a strong Accounting Leader to coming in and drive the team to the next level. Ideally, you'll have a CPA and experience working in both public and private organisations, driving enhancements and process improvements. You will be managing a team of 4.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities, including generating reports, analyzing data, and preparing/reviewing journal entries.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address reconciling items in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants, providing training and reviewing deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Conduct P&L variance analysis to budget and recommend actionable insights.
- Enhance internal controls over operational accounting processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and establish best practices.
- Manage fixed assets and capital projects within the ERP system.
- Handle lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 10 years of corporate general accounting experience, with at least 2 years managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in Dynamics365 or similar ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and Power BI.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
