OVERVIEW
The Salesforce Manager is responsible for the development, administration, and strategic expansion of Camino’s Salesforce ecosystem across all departments and programs. As our organization continues to grow and evolve, this role will ensure that Salesforce is optimized to support our matrix structure, streamline operations, and enhance data-driven decision-making. This position requires both technical expertise and strategic vision to build, manage, and continuously improve our Salesforce infrastructure while aligning it with Camino’s mission and operational needs.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Salesforce Development & Administration
- Oversee the architecture, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our rapidly expanding organization.
- Develop and implement new Salesforce programs, modules, and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Salesforce environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Cross-Departmental Integration & Collaboration
- Work closely with department leaders to customize Salesforce solutions that align with their operational workflows and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement data models and reporting structures that support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with Project Management and program leads to integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
- User Training & Support
- Train staff on Salesforce best practices, ensuring adoption and effective usage.
- Develop training materials and documentation to support onboarding and ongoing education.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with Salesforce advancements and recommend new features or tools that can enhance Camino’s operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Lead the rollout of new Salesforce capabilities, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator) preferred.
- Strong understanding of database management, workflow automation, and reporting/analytics within Salesforce.
- Experience implementing Salesforce solutions in a matrixed or multi-departmental organization.
- Proven ability to design and deploy new programs and modules within Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support diverse teams.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications is a plus.
