FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Travel: Some overnight travel may be required
Compensation: $18 - $24/hr - Eligible for medical insurance after 90 days
What is the job?
Team Lead:
- Serve as primary contact and leader for all daily projects
- Conduct training on various topics, and serve as a resource for other team members
- Create and execute job strategies
- Serve as primary contact for customers and Camo Crew Operations on one team operations.
- Manage multiple teams at any given time.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide estimates for the removal of unwanted items.
- Address client concerns, answer questions, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Junk Removal:
- Physically remove and haul away items such as furniture, appliances, electronics, and other unwanted materials from residential, commercial, or industrial locations.
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of items to prevent damage to the property.
Sorting and Recycling:
- Sort through items to identify those that can be recycled or donated.
- Dispose of items in an environmentally responsible manner, adhering to local waste disposal regulations.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate and maintain trucks and equipment used for junk removal.
- Ensure that vehicles are loaded and secured properly for safe transportation.
Heavy Lifting:
- Perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and carrying, to remove and load items onto the removal vehicle.
Documentation:
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as invoices and receipts, for each job.
- Maintain accurate records of items removed and disposed of.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete jobs efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety.
Adherence to Safety Regulations:
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during junk removal.
- Use proper safety equipment and tools as needed.
What do you bring?
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
Driving Skills: Valid driver's license (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record. Ability to operate and navigate removal vehicles safely. We will run a Motor Vehicle Report before hiring.
Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Time Management: Efficient time management skills to complete jobs within specified timeframes.
Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations and make decisions on the most effective methods for junk removal.
Environmental Awareness: Understanding of environmental regulations and commitment to responsible waste disposal.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from team leaders or supervisors.
Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in sorting and handling items to maximize recycling and donation opportunities.
