Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to oversee the daily operations of our doggy daycare and boarding facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of canine behavior, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients and their pets. This role involves managing staff, ensuring the well-being of our furry guests, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of camp counselors.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak times.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare and boarding facility, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe environment for both dogs and staff.
- Manage facility cleanliness and maintenance, coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handle customer inquiries and reviews with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service and personalized care.
- Dog Care and Welfare:
- Monitor the health and well-being of dogs in the facility, including assessing behavior, managing playgroups, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all dogs receive appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and pet owners for any medical concerns or emergencies.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of dog profiles, medical histories, and client information.
- Oversee inventory management, including supplies and food.
- Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Promote the facility through various marketing channels, including social media, community events, and partnerships.
- Organize and participate in events and activities to enhance community engagement and facility visibility.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role within a pet care or related industry.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior, care, and health.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Compensation:
