What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Counselor - Part Time position at Camp Bow Wow Hoover?
Our Camp Counselors assist with animal care, play yard monitoring, client service, grooming and heavy cleaning. On the job training is provided.
Primary Responsibilities
· Maintain a safe environment for our client’s dogs and our team members.
· Monitor dogs in play yard.
· Maintain a clean and organized environment.
· Consistent safe, attentive, and engaging interaction with our client’s dogs
· Feeding dogs
· Cleaning cabins and common areas
· Provide world class customer service.
· Check in and out processes.
· Dog washing and light grooming.
Essential Skills
· MUST LOVE DOGS!!!!
· Extremely energetic with a positive personality.
· Must thrive in a high energy, fast paced environment
· Strong team player
· Strong desire to provide the highest level of customer service
Requirements
· Be able to spend extended time walking and on foot
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
· At least 18 years or older
· Be able to lift dog food and supplies

This position will report directly to the Camp Manager
Availability
Must be able to work flexible schedule up to 25 hours a week - Camps are open 7 days/week, 6:30am to 7:30pm, weekends and holidays are required but time off is permitted with advance notice.

Salary : $10 - $15
