Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. This role is commission-based, with groomers earning 50% of their total service revenue. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of every pet in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments.
- Consult with pet owners to understand their preferences and the specific needs of their pets.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering grooming advice.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, workstations, and the grooming area.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during grooming sessions.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and professional salon environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pet Groomer, with a portfolio of work preferred.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working with various breeds, sizes, and temperaments of pets.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
