We are looking for hard-working, dog-loving people to join our pack and help us create a fun and safe environment for dogs. Camp Bow Wow is a Premier Doggy Day Care and Overnight Boarding stay for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention! We are looking for full and part-time Camp Counselors that have a genuine love of dogs, are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable team players. Camp Bow Wow cares for dogs 365 days a year including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday. Candidates must be able to work during hours of operation.
General Purpose of Job: Supervising and ensuring the safety of client's dogs and maintaining a clean and fun environment.
Title: Camp Counselor for Camp Bow Wow North Phoenix
This job requires the ability to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Care includes: cleaning, monitoring up to 25 dogs at one time, facilitiating enrichments, playing, and of course handing out treats!

The Scoop on the Job:
- A gift for connecting with animals and the motivation to care for them as you would your own
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Capable of physical activity up to and including handling XL breeds and deep cleaning
- Taking a course on Pet First Aid and CPR (course is paid for as a benefit of employment!)
- Comfortable with administering (some) medications to dogs (Senior CC only)
- Calm, & patient personality with the dogs
- Engaging with dogs and monitoring their physical and mental behavior
- Breed specialty (example: small dogs, high activity level or extra-large breeds)
Job requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to care for dogs on nights (until 7:30-8pm), weekends and holidays
- Punctual
- Reliable and dependable
- Love for ALL breeds and dogs of all sizes
- Cleaning, both the facility and helping dogs with their baths
Compensation:
- $14.70 an hour starting pay Tips
- Hours can revolve around school and other responsibilities
