What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kayak Instruction Lead position at Camp Carolina?
Work in the Blue Ridge Mountains for summer 2025. Housing and Food Provided.
We are seeking 1 beginner kayak instructor and 6 intermediate instructors for summer 2025. Beginner instructors focus on flat water/lake skills such as rolling and paddling techniques and guide on class 1/2 rivers. Our Intermediate instructors focus on our more advanced campers guiding on class 2/3 rivers. Great opportunity for kayakers looking to advance their skills, instructing/personal kayaking, and spend 3 months on the water. We offer heavily subsidized WFR, ACA Kayak and River Rescue certifications (if needed) (50% off). Amazing equipment, generous time off to play on local rivers, great pro deals with Werner, Kokotat, Astral, etc and networking with paddlers from NZ, South Africa, UK and Australia.
