What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Christopher - Head Counselor - Seasonal position at Camp Chritopher?
Program Statement: A key aspect of a successful summer is our leadership team. Great leadership staff serve as role models for both campers and staff. These individuals play a key role in enforcing camp policies, communicating and addressing concerns, and strengthening programming.
What we are looking for:
- Head Male/ Female Unit Leaders: Provide a safe, fun, and quality camp experience for an assigned group of campers. Implement the established programs for campers and staff. Provide support and guidance to other counselors, while working with the leadership team.
- Head Waterfront- Attend training and obtain certifications as needed for the performance of duties. Uphold and enforce rules, policies, and regulations for the safe operation of waterfront activities. Train and manage the waterfront staff.
- Head Challenge Course- Attend training and obtain certifications as needed for the performance of duties. Uphold and enforce rules, policies, and regulations for the safe operation of challenge course activities. Lead team to ensure that they are following procedures and are up to date on any required certifications.
All positions must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and to effectively perform a variety of roles as needed for the smooth operation of programs.
