Medical Director Camp Gregory
Camp Gregory is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rustic summer camp located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake. As the medical director, you will wear multiple hats. You will oversee medical care and serve as a mentor to our camp attendees.
You will be based in the infirmary but may work outdoors when necessary. The natural surroundings will be your extended office.
The camp provides summer programming for children in grades K-10th. Our focus is on critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and personal development. We utilize our natural setting as a living classroom where kids can learn while having fun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical care for camp attendees
- Serve as a mentor and role model for campers
- Work with staff to develop health and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in medicine (MD or DO)
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
