How you will contribute to our TEAM:
Summary:
Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key referral sources, including property managers, building engineers, and other industry professionals. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in lead generation, sales, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Establish and cultivate strong referral relationships with key industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct thorough market research and identify potential target accounts.
- Collaborate with Project Directors, Branch Managers and National Account Managers on account development with in the assigned territory.
- Lead Generation:
- Actively seek out and develop new referral relationships through various strategies, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and in-person visits.
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Conduct regular field visits and schedule frequent meetings with decision-makers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all referral sources.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all referral partners.
- Marketing & Communication:
- Oversee and execute targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Manage referral source communications and promote company services effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to stay top-of-mind with existing customers and enhance brand awareness within the target market.
- Event Management:
- Represent the company at key industry networking events to build new referral opportunities.
- Plan and execute company-hosted client appreciation events to strengthen existing relationships and generate new leads.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven success in sales and business development within the property management, insurance, or a related industry.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of professionals.
- Organization & Time Management: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a demanding schedule and multitask effectively.
- Customer Focus: A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other relevant software applications.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools
