Job Description
Part-Time to Full-Time Until June | Full-Time June–August 2025
Curiosity Doylestown is seeking a reliable, hardworking Maintenance Team Member to support the daily operations of Camp Curiosity, Curiosity Academy, and Doylestown Pickleball. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized spaces, enjoys working outdoors, and is comfortable handling a variety of physical tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Groundskeeping:
- Mow grass, trim edges, and perform weed whacking around buildings, fields, courts, and walkways
- Pressure wash surfaces and maintain clean outdoor areas
- Perform minor repairs including fencing (post & beam), painting, and general property upkeep
- Maintain and organize tools, machinery, and maintenance supplies
- Complete seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf cleanup
- Monitor and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
Camp Support (Summer Season):
- Collect and dispose of trash throughout the property
- Fill, deliver, and maintain large water jugs for outdoor areas
- Perform daily pool maintenance tasks
- Assist with opening/closing sheds and storage areas
- Move and arrange furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed
- Set up and break down for special events, activities, classes, and pickleball events
- Support vendor deliveries and order pickups
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure the property is consistently clean, sanitized, organized, and free of litter and hazards
- Understand and follow all emergency procedures, safety guidelines, and property protocols
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with motivation, independence, and responsibility
- Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping is preferred
- Experience operating mowers, trimmers, and small machinery is a plus
- Pediatric First Aid & CPR and/or Lifeguard/WSI Certifications (Camp Curiosity will host certification sessions)
- Ability to obtain Background Clearances, FBI Fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training (subject to current regulations)

Camp Curiosity will be hosting a CPR and Lifeguard Certification class in June 2025, dates TBD.
