What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Owner position at CAMP Digital?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Product Owner to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features, define requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact products that delight our users and achieve business goals.
This person will be supported by more experienced team members and be expected to actively apply the learned strategies and knowledge to bring high levels of success to the assigned projects, for our clients or for internal purposes.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, effectively communicating product vision and goals.
- Define and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the overall roadmap and business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, QA) to translate user needs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Prioritize features and tasks based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) as the voice of the customer.
- Review and approve deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to refine and improve the product iteratively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product management best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and delivering value.
