Seasonal Grounds Worker

Camp Eddy RV Lodging Resort is currently looking for reliable, outgoing and motivated members to join our team for the summer season. The Temporary/Seasonal Grounds member will be responsible for the essential functions for the landscaping and grounds of our campground, assisting on the grounds of our sister apartment building that shares our property and helping with other additional duties as required.

COMPENSATION:

$15.00 -$15.50 per hour depending on experience

Schedule

• This is a temporary/seasonal position.
• This position is Monday through Friday with a starting time of 8am.
• This position ranges between 25 and 30 hours per week.
• This position will run from Mid-March until August and possibly until the beginning of October.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Be yourself and genuinely care about each interaction you have.
• Comply with all RV Park operating policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, presentable workplace and professional appearance
• Interact with guests on campground with a positive attitude
• Maintain landscaping and grounds of campground and apartment building. (Both share one property)
• General area maintenance, including but not limited to community spaces, lawns, paths, and sites.
• Pick up trash and keep RV Park free of trash
• Assist General Manager/Manager on Duty & Maintenance and Grounds Manager with additional duties deemed necessary for proper operation of the Park.
• Other related duties as needed

Supervisory & Training responsibilities:

• This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Skills:

• Ground experience preferred

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Grand Junction, Colorado. (Required)

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals.

• Possess a current and valid driver's license, preferred.
• Work independently or in a team environment and take direction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use general maintenance equipment
• Must continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl to fulfill cleaning and repair/maintenance tasks for up to 4 hours in length
• Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Must be able to grasp, write, use repetitive motion, listen, and hear
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus
