Position Summary
The Restoration Technician oversees the field crews in the operations department and professionally represents Camp on the jobsite. Responsible for preparing job cost estimates, negotiating purchases and contracts, establishing construction schedules and reviewing accounting reports.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
The Restoration Technician will be able to communicate effectively with other Camp employees, vendors, subcontractors and clients including property-level personnel. Restoration Technicians should have sufficient education, experience in restoration and mitigation, and communication skills to effectively discharge their assigned duties. They must be physically able to lift heavy loads, climb ladders and work on active construction jobsites. Must have completed OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses, or complete OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 within 60 days after program enrollment.
Responsibilities
Specific duties will vary based on the size, complexity and type of project assigned but will generally be assigned to small - medium scope, short duration jobs or to single-trade jobs. Occasional brief assignments to other jobsites during the course of an assigned project are normal. Typically, a Restoration Technician is responsible for the following key elements of each assigned project :
