Unit Leader Sub - Summer Adventure Camp
Position Summary: The Summer Adventure Camp Unit Leader Sub adheres to Camp Fire Alaska’s (CFAK) promise to provide youth with the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice and discover who they are through positive and responsible youth interactions within the day camp environment. The Unit Leader Sub is responsible for providing coverage for Site Leadership as needed which encompasses the overall management and supervision of assigned units, overseeing all aspects of youth safety and staff supervision
Pay: $22.37 -$25.55/hour
Work Location: Anchorage & Eagle River
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm Work Dates: May 23, 2025 - August 1, 2025
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership ability; minimum of one (1) year/season prior experience in staff supervision and youth management.
- Minimum of twelve college credits in education, youth development or related field, to meet licensing requirements. Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- Twenty-One (21) years of age required to maintain compliance with regulatory entities.
- Prior experience with youth, preferably in a day/resident camp setting.
- Current Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/ First Aid Certification from a nationally recognized provider.
