Summary
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for the health and well-being of the campers in their care during day camp and resident camp programs. Counselors will serve as a role model to campers and CITs through their actions, professionalism, appearance, language, manners, and general conduct, and participate enthusiastically. Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various camp activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing educational and recreational programs tailored to the interests and needs of campers.
- Provide guidance and support to campers, fostering their social and emotional development.
- Administer first aid as needed and maintain a safe atmosphere by enforcing camp rules.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a positive camp experience for all participants.
