Overview
The Youth Director plays a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the development of young individuals within our camp community. This position involves creating a nurturing environment that fosters spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and personal development. The Youth Director will engage with children, adolescents, and fellow staff members, provide mentorship and leadership, while facilitating various programs and activities that align with our mission.
Duties
- Develop and implement youth programs that promote spiritual growth, leadership skills, and camp community involvement.
- Organize events and activities that encourage participation and foster a sense of belonging among the camp community
- Facilitate discussions on topics provided by organizations curricula.
- Maintain open lines of communication with youth participants to ensure their voices are heard and valued.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth and staff community members.
- Experience working with children in various capacities, including event planning and mentoring.
- Leadership abilities to inspire and guide youth towards personal growth.
- Knowledge of Christian counseling principles to provide spiritual guidance.

Pay: $400.00 - $700.00 per week
