What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Assistant position at Camp Good Puppy LLC?

We are looking for a friendly, hard working, punctual, self-starter, who can follow directions, for work as a kennel assistant.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an animal centered, cleaning or service industry. We are looking for someone who has at least a basic understanding of canine behavior, who has a desire to work with dogs and is looking for a long-term position.
Duties include; walking dogs in groups of 10-18, poop scooping, cleaning, feeding, dishes, laundry. We are looking for someone who is flexible and dependable.
Must have reliable transportation as we are not on the bus line.
We are a NON-Smoking, fragrance free facility and are committed to being environmentally friendly.
This is an Inside/Outside position on 5 acres with trees and grass.
It takes a lot of work and cleaning to keep the kennel running properly, you must be able to multi-task, have a great attention to detail, and be able to quickly adjust to changing priorities. This job can be physically demanding but enjoyable for the right people. We have a great team; we work hard but also have a lot of fun.
Positive and Upbeat is a must.
This position will start out as a float position and work into a more set schedule. Our day begins at 6am and the last staff leaves between 8:30-9:00pm. Shifts are typically 6-10 hrs depending on the day and the number of dogs in our care. If your day/week isn't flexible this position wont work for you. If you are able to adjust easily and like having different shifts and different days off you will fit right in. Schedules come out on Thursday for the following week.
