Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the preschool, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and enrollment processes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and care provided to children.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management to ensure the preschool operates within its means while providing quality services.
- Foster a collaborative environment among teachers, parents, and the community to support children's learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding early childhood education.
- Conduct regular assessments of educational programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Experience
- A degree in Education Administration or a related field from a recognized university is preferred. At minimum a canidate would need to have completed Early Childhood Credentials and Admin 1 and 2.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
- Strong skills in budgeting, strategic planning, and managing educational programs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with children, parents, and staff positively.
- A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in preschool education is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
