The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for seasonal Van Drivers to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Driver, you have the responsibility of driving non-CDL vehicles safely.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?
- Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and report any mechanical or safety problems to management.
This position requires the team member to drive company vehicles; the successful applicant will have an unrestricted driver’s license and can pass a DOT physical.
- Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintain accurate record keeping.
- Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
- Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
- Ability to operate vehicle in a calm and safe manner in response to adverse weather conditions, other drivers, and wild animals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Minimum of three years’ driving experience in adverse conditions
- Clean driving record and a valid driver license and can pass a DOT physical
- Able to safely operate and drive a heavy-duty truck and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
- No high school diploma or GED required

- Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
- Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio
