Temporary Summer Bus Driver (Camp IHC)

Position Overview:

Join our team at Camp IHC as a Summer Bus Driver! We are seeking experienced drivers with a CDL Class B (Commercial Driver's License Class B) and a Passenger endorsement or School Bus endorsement to transport campers and staff to various activities and excursions throughout the summer. This is a summer position (June to August) that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends to accommodate our camp schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CDL (Class B) with a Passenger endorsement, minimum requirement
• Minimum of two years of experience driving a Bus or coach bus
• Availability to work nights and weekends
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $18 to $22 per hour (based on experience)
• Opportunity for higher pay if you have your own bus and are willing to use it. Hourly rate will be negotiated above $22 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport campers to and from activities, excursions, and off-site trips
• Provide a positive and friendly atmosphere for campers during transportation
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bus
• Communicate effectively with camp leadership and staff
• Adhere to schedules and routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures
