Job Coach
Camp JCA Shalom, located in Angeles National Forest, is hiring positions for our sleep-away summer camp. We are hiring Job Coaches the upcoming summer (June 2-August 3). Have the summer of your life, make new friends, and spend time in the great outdoors! The starting amount for this position is 3,250 for the summer, which includes room and board on-site, but can be negotiated based on experience.
General Function:
Supervise and support our team of staff members with diverse needs, including managing their daily schedule and helping them complete their job responsibilities. The purpose of the Job Coach program is to give working opportunities and build professional skills for adults with diverse abilities. We are looking for candidates who want to make a difference in the lives of our team and would be excited to work in a camp setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide Support based on the team's needs/workload
-Expected to work with a small group of adults with diverse needs and varying abilities
-Expected to live on-site at a Jewish sleepaway camp that runs from (June 2nd-Aug 3rd) with possible training days the week prior
Experience:- Experience working with children or adults with special needs is greatly preferred

Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
