Job Overview
The Pet Playtime Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of pets during their time at our facility. This position involves engaging with animals, providing them with playtime, and ensuring their safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various breeds and sizes of pets.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with pets during playtime sessions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Implement structured play activities that promote physical exercise and mental stimulation for the animals.
- Monitor pet behavior to identify any signs of distress or aggression, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in play areas by regularly cleaning up after pets and ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior, needs, and any concerns that may arise.
- Assist Front Desk with cleaning responsibilities
- Hours from 10:00am - 3:00am
Qualifications
- Experience in animal care or handling is preferred; familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
