A Bergen County-based day camp is seeking a skilled and engaging Dance Instructor for an 8-week summer session beginning June 24, 2025 . Whether you specialize in jazz, acro, yoga, or creative movement, this position offers the chance to share your expertise in a fun and supportive environment.
Position Highlights:
- Teach and lead daily dance sessions tailored to campers ages 4-9.
- Adapt and differentiate your curriculum to suit diverse skill levels and needs, ensuring each group stays engaged and active.
- Use a variety of materials provided by the camp, like poly spots, ribbon wands, and other dance props, to create dynamic and interactive sessions.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Proven experience in teaching dance, fitness, or movement classes, particularly with young children.
- Strong curriculum management skills and the ability to structure classes that are both fun and skill-building.
- A creative approach to engaging young learners and adapting content as needed.
