Salary: $1,700/week (Exempt)
Shift: 35hrs a week flex - temporary seasonal

Camp Loyaltown is an overnight summer camp that supports children and adults with developmental and other intellectual disabilities (ages 7 to 80 ).
The Camp RN works in the Health Center, collaborating with Unit Heads, Counselors, Program Staff, and others to ensure the health and safety of campers and staff.

In this role, you will:
- Administer and document daily medications, treatments, and health care per prescriber’s orders while ensuring compliance with agency policies. Address medication issues promptly.
- Monitor camper and staff health through direct observation, discussions with team members, and follow-up on body checks or health concerns.
- Conduct pre-session health screenings with families, ensure accurate care instructions, and maintain updated health records.
- Manage emergency responses, including seizures, injuries, and falls, while coordinating with the Nurse Manager and external medical services as needed.
- Oversee Health Center operations, including in-patient care, first aid/triage, and night shift tasks such as medication reconciliation and reporting.
- Adhere to all agency policies, promote the mission, report any safety concerns, and fulfill mandated reporter obligations.
We require:
- New York State Professional Nursing Certification
- CPR/AED Certification yearly as per DOH regulation
- Some experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
