What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spring Kitchen/ Hospitality Team Member position at Camp Lutherhaven?
Lutherhaven Ministries hires Kitchen and Hospitality Team Members at both Camp Lutherhaven and Shoshone Mountain Retreat for our spring season. Your schedule may include weekend work, with time off scheduled during the week. Hourly and salaried positions available.
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Candidates must be able to work and serve in a Christian setting and work alongside teammates of all ages.
- Positive attitude, energetic, dedicated, and able to be involved in all aspects of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Kitchen staff work closely with the camp cooks preparing nutritious meals, maintaining health code standards and sanitation of the kitchen, setting up the dining area, cleaning dishes, and doing other tasks within the area of food service.
- Hospitality is an essential aspect of our ministry. These staff will be trained to see everything from the guest’s perspective and ensure camp is welcoming to all. Duties include cleaning, laundry, dishes, and organization of meeting/workspaces.
Benefits:
- Pay - $375 to $450/week depending on experience
- Room & Board – meals provided when groups are on-site
