We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to serve as our Basketball Program Head Coach and Counselor at Camp Mah-Kee-Nac.
About the Role:
- Create engaging and age-appropriate basketball programs with the help of our Athletic Director.
- Instruct clinics, coach teams in competitions and tournaments, and ensure facility maintenance.
- Serve as an outstanding role model to campers and staff, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a genuine desire to work with campers and staff of varying skill levels. Coaching experience at the club, high school, or college level is highly valued but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead creative basketball clinics and teams.
- Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers.
- Serve as a role model, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a growth mindset among campers and staff.
