What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse (RN) position at Camp Manitou?
Our Health Center is comprised of 9 nurses, a physician, an aid, and an administrator.
Manitou is a residential children's summer camp in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. Manitou prides itself on a state-of-the-art camping facility with an unmatched variety of programs.
Our population is healthy children. They will, however, not feel well on occasion. Colds, coughs, allergies, sore throats, sprains, and strains are examples of the issues you'll encounter. They are eager to make connections cuts and fractures do occur. Patients with other serious ailments/injuries are transported to the local hospital by our camp staff.
