We are looking for a motivated and dependable Night Audit /Security Guard to join our team at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and Lodge in Pigeon Forge. This is a full-time position paid at $18.00 an hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Front Desk Attendant -
- Provide upscale guest service experiences for guests throughout their stay
- Ensure guests are properly greeted upon their arrival
- Inform guests of our hotel services, including breakfast and dining options
- Promote all hotel amenities, conveniences and programs offered
- Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
NIGHT AUDIT -
- Responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel including additional hotel service outlets
- Primary Responsibilities Counting and balancing cash, credit cards and direct bill accounts
- Posting charges to guest accounts
- Monitor high balance guests and payments owing and take appropriate action
- Investigation or analyzing out-of-balance situations and making adjustments or corrections as needed
- Completing computer audit reports
- Listening for or anticipating and responding to guest complaints
- Resolve complaints in a positive manner
- Answer phones, direct calls and take reservations
- Keeping the front desk and lobby area clean
- Maintaining daily logs
- Sending out daily reports to owners and managers
- You are a part of the property security team and are responsible to report any potential safety or security hazards to management immediately
- Know all emergency procedures to follow and how to respond in the event of different types of emergencies
- Follow front desk procedures to ensure accuracy, five-star service and consistency in all operations
- Wear the proper uniform at all times
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings for front desk personnel
- Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures & standards
Skills
- Proven work experience in Guest Relations preferred but not required
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws
- Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software preferred
- Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends & holidays
- Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Proven work experience in relevant field
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
