We offer an extensive pool recreation area, Fins Bar, pickleball courts, Fin City entertainment center, fire pit, children's playground, and Barkaritaville Dog Park.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a fun, energetic and passionate individual to provide outstanding service to our guests.
The Recreation Attendant provides genuine, efficient and friendly service for guests visiting the pool area and Fin City entertainment center. If you have a love for the outdoors and enjoy creating unforgettable experiences, this position is perfect for you!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Recreation Attendant, you will have the opportunity to interact with guests and provide them with exciting and memorable experiences.
- You will assist with organizing and conducting recreational activities and events for guests of all ages, including outdoor sports, arts and crafts, poolside activities, duckpin bowling, bonfire with smores and much more
- Greet guests and courteously answer questions about the hotel and local area
- Keep pool towels stocked and deliver used towels to laundry
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards appropriately
- Maintain assurance of all pool and slide rules
- Deliver drinks to our guests in the campground on the Margarita Cart
- Assist with on property events and banquets
- Help with activities in the entertainment center
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service position preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Friendly, outgoing, energetic, positive attitude with a professional appearance
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, days and evenings
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Knowledge of recreational activities and sports
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, bend with ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- TABC certified or ability to get certified
