The ideal candidate has the ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong customer facing social skills, experience preferred but willing to train the right candidates.

Camp is a casual American dining experience that serves quality, rotisserie-driven comfort food with efficiency and flair. Centrally located adjacent to Desert Pearl Inn, one of Zion's most long-loved hotels, Camp features a custom world class rotisserie, a spacious patio and a communal fire pit evoking a nostalgic camp-like ambiance. Camp offers a fast-fine model of service which ensures swift ordering and attentive hospitality.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A FOOD RUNNER/BUSSER

As a Food Runner at Camp Outpost, you'll play a vital role in ensuring food delivery to our guests with courtesy and efficiency. Your contribution will extend beyond mere service; you'll be an essential support system for your team, enhancing the overall guest experience. At Camp Outpost, our mission is to "Create Moments that Matter", and as a Food Runner, you'll be instrumental in creating those experiences for our guests & your fellow team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

General

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all service areas in accordance to departmental procedures.
  • Set up workstations with required tools, equipment and supplies according to the FOH open & close checklist.
  • Replenish wares in wait station throughout shift.
  • Complete all assigned opening & closing side duties by either a Shift Lead or Manager on duty.
  • Follow the maintenance program and cleaning schedule as assigned.
  • Attend all Restaurant/bar staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to break compliance policy.
  • Adhere to all Health Department, sanitation, and safety regulations as required by the restaurant.

Bus

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room tables by bussing during shift to ensure a clean space & available tables for all guests who enter.
  • Assist dishwashers in clearing plates prior to drop off in dish pit.
  • Handle all wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss while adhering to safety practices and procedures.


Customer Service

  • Serve non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with departmental specifications.
  • Deliver food to tables once Expo has cleared the ticket to go.
  • Place additional wares on tables as directed.
  • Refill non-alcoholic beverages according to procedures.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever the time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Have familiarity with each dish, its components, ingredients, and any common allergens and restrictions pertaining to that dish.
  • Handle guest complaints in accordance with the company hospitality training standards.
