What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Camp Pemigewassett?
Camp Pemi is a summer camp for boys, aged 8-15 in Wentworth, NH. Our kitchen serves 3 family style meals a day, seven days a week. We are currently hiring a chef to join our crew for the summer of 2025. You would join a team of three other chefs and 8 support staff/dishwashers.
Candidates must be available from early June until early August, approximately June 6 - August 11.
In addition to strong basic kitchen skills successful candidates must be flexible, willing to learn and challenge themselves, work well with a diverse crew of men and women, show attention to detail, and a strong drive to succeed. The Pemi kitchen produces meals for 250 people at each seating, we use fresh ingredients to make high quality food with a variety of dietary exceptions taken into account when developing our menu which provides a wide range of opportunities to share and develop your skills.
