Camp Pemigewassett (Pemi), a summer camp for boys, seeks qualified individuals to teach and instruct Waterskiing for the 2025 summer. Candidates should have experience working with children, ski boat driving, and waterskiing instruction.
Founded in 1908, Pemi is the oldest residential boys camp in the country under the same continuous family ownership and management. Pemi campers can attend a full 7-week session, or choose from a shorter 3-week or 4-week session. Pemi offers a wide-ranging curriculum, including all athletics, water sports, trips, nature, music, arts, and drama. Camp occupies a beautiful 600-acre site on the shores of Lower Baker Pond in the White Mountain Region of New Hampshire, about 25 miles northeast of Hanover, NH. The camp season runs eight weeks; from June 14 through August 10.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise campers in waterskiing techniques, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
- Develop lesson plans tailored to various skill levels, focusing on individual progress.
- Engage with children to foster a positive learning environment and build confidence.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed .
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting
