(June – August)
Camp Pinnacle is an 880-acre Christian summer camp & retreat center located at the top of the scenic Helderberg Mountains, overlooking the Capital District of New York State with a mission to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ. Summer staff will live at camp through the summer season June 22 thru August 16, 2025.
We are looking for exceptional high schoolers, college students, young adults, and teachers who love the Lord and have a desire to serve.
Camp Pinnacle exists “to help people walk in God’s paths.” Our summer camp inspires children and teens through engaging worship, gospel-centered teaching, community-building in small-group Bible studies, and AWESOME fun activities. Time spent on the Camp Pinnacle summer staff is guaranteed to be an unforgettable life-changing experience!
Staff Training Week (required) runs from June 22 – August 16 and will include many invaluable opportunities to grow your skillset and equip you with certifications and knowledge to use in any work force.

- Workshop on building leadership skills
- Workshop on growing resume development skills
- Workshop on working with special needs children and managing early childhood developmental setbacks
- Kitchen prep, food safety, cooking, baking, and clean-up training

Summer Kitchen Staff
As a kitchen staff member you will be assisting our resident chef in providing meals for the campers and retreat groups using our property. You will be trained on food prep, safety, serving, cooking, baking & clean-up. During your unscheduled kitchen hours (not including break times) you will be required to attend camp activities and provide support where needed.
Position Requirements:
- 16 years or older
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior
- Agree and adhere to our Statement of Faith and our Code of Conduct
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and exhibit good communication skills
- Hold cleanliness, teamwork, adaptability, and good decision-making as important qualities that are strived for
Additional Information:
- Most staff should be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally reach higher places and bend to lower places.
- We are a Christian camp and have a standard of faith for the individuals we employ.
- Kitchen staff members will be required to work 5 days per each 7-day week. This may include weekend shifts as we have retreat groups that use our facilities on Saturdays and Sundays.
