What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Summer Camp Kitchen Support Staff position at Camp Rim Rock?
Camp Rim Rock is hiring Dishwashers/Kitchen Support Staff for our summer season. Kitchen Staff work under the direction of the Kitchen Manager/Chef and assist and execution of meals for 250 campers and staff throughout the summer.
Dates: Immediately through August 14, 2022. Must be available to work some weekends.
Duties:
- Wash all dishes, flatware, pots, pans, etc.
- During meals, refill serving dishes and generally assist as needed.
- Assist Kitchen Manager/Chef in meal prep by setting tables and preparing ingredients as directed.
- Once meals are over, clean the kitchen and dining areas. In addition to dishes, this may include wiping down tables, packaging and properly storing leftover food, etc.
- Work with maintenance support staff to unload and store dining hall supplies on delivery days.
Requirements:
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Previous experience working in kitchens is a plus!
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
