We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing support, and fostering a positive experience for campers of various ages. Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during activities and throughout the camp day.
- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical fitness.
- Foster positive relationships with campers by being approachable, supportive, and encouraging.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding any concerns or updates.
- Provide guidance and support to campers in developing new skills and overcoming challenges.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childcare and camp operations.
Requirements
- Experience working with students or children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, or babysitting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is a plus.
- Ability to engage with children of various ages and backgrounds effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A passion for educating and nurturing young minds through creative play and structured activities.
