What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Camp Siloam?
A Maintenance Team Member helps the Director of Operations with the overall maintenance, of the buildings, rooms, grounds, equipment and vehicles of Camp Siloam.
GOALS
- The Maintenance Team works to support the message of Camp Siloam by ensuring the quality of the buildings, rooms, grounds, equipment and vehicles enhance the guest’s camp experience.
- To be ready and willing to assist the Director of Operations and guests with anything they need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- May repair broken equipment, perform light plumbing, painting, carpentry.
- May operate equipment in repairing facilities and performing grounds maintenance.
- May perform cleaning toilets, showers, sinks, sweeping, moping, sanitizing beds.
- May pick up litter and natural debris throughout the camp.
- May maintain records of equipment and logs related to the operations of equipment.
- May help make sure to keep camp vehicles and equipment well maintained and running.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
