Camp Tall Timbers is a private, co-ed overnight camp for kids aged 7-16, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, two hours west of Washington D.C.
We are seeking counselors to join our team for the upcoming summer. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and possess the ability to instruct an activity at camp. Our website showcases the diverse range of activities available.
Our counselors play a vital role as big brothers or sisters to campers and live in a cabin with another college student serving as a co-counselor. Candidates should appreciate the outdoors and embody a positive influence for kids. Our camp fosters a nurturing environment where campers and staff alike can grow, form lasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories together.
The duration of employment spans from June 11th to August 9th. Earlier start dates may be possible, including complimentary training in Red Cross Lifeguarding, ropes course instruction, or archery. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Additionally, room, board, and laundry services are provided and included.
