Recreation Instructor
Serves as a recreation instructor for departmental program offerings, including Zipline, High Ropes, the Tower, and Archery. Facilitates programs with safety as top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate program offerings with safety as forefront.
- Participate in all scheduled training.
- Assist in upkeep of recreation activity areas.
- Make suggestions to recreation Lead regarding operation of activity areas.
- Help campers, staff, and guests feel welcomed.
- Teach and show Christ's love to fellow staff and campers.
- Attend all meetings, both departmental and camp-wide.
- Be involved in other camp activities as planned by Recreation and Ministry Departments.
- Assist in various responsibilities for Sunday camper drop-off and Saturday camper pick-up.
- Fulfill temporary assignments to other duties, including Cabin Leader, as needed.

- Has excellent communication skills and ability to teach or lead others.
- Understands and exhibits behaviors and skills needed to function in a team environment.
- PASSION FOR PEOPLE, LEARNING NEW THINGS, AND A SENSE OF ADVENTURE.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of reaching and touching items at a height of 84 inches off the ground.
- Comfortable working at various heights with attached protective gear (55ft or lower).
- Maintains a weight below maximum climber's weight of 265lbs.
- Physically able to traverse multi-terrain grounds in all seasons and work in outdoor environments.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire. Offers of employment are contingent on background and reference checks.
$275/week
